TATA as title sponsor means everything will be well organised – safe, clean, and top-class screens. The BCCI says they want to create a real community atmosphere, and they’re doing exactly that. This time they’re reaching new places like Puthuppally (Kerala), Mangalagiri (Andhra), Chamba & Mandi (Himachal), Golaghat & Silchar (Assam), Imphal (Manipur) and many more. Finally, small towns are getting their fair share of IPL fun.

Phase 1 vs Phase 2 Expansion

In the phase 1 Places like Rohtak, Bhopal, Nagpur, and a few others got to enjoy. People enjoyed the match, and felt like they were actually at the stadium. Now Phase 2 is going even enormous and wider. From April 18-19 all the way till the end of May (May 23-24), they’re running these Fan Parks over six full weekends.

IPL Experience Comes to Your City

For years we’ve watched IPL only on TV, right? Sitting in our rooms or with a small group of friends. But now, the BCCI is making sure that even small towns and cities get the real experience. Think about it – you won’t need to buy expensive tickets or travel hundreds of kilometers. Just step out in your city, and boom… there’s a proper IPL festival waiting for you.

What You’ll Experience at Fan Parks

Huge LED screens almost everywhere. There are bowling machines to test your speed, cheer meters that go crazy when your team hits a six, 360-degree photo booths for cool pictures, and so many games like Pitch Perfect and Game of Throws. It’s not just watching cricket.

Cities Getting the IPL Vibe

Cities like Puthuppally in Kerala, Mangalagiri in Andhra, Chamba and Mandi in Himachal, Golaghat and Silchar in Assam, Imphal in Manipur, and many more. No more feeling that IPL is only for Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, or Chennai fans. Cricket has always been India’s biggest unifier. Whether you’re from North, South, East, or West, we all speak the same language when the ball crosses the boundary. These Fan Parks are built exactly on that feeling.

Top-Class Experience with TATA

TATA being the title sponsor means everything is going to be top-class – good screens, proper seating arrangements, security, and great organization. The BCCI has said they want to create a “vibrant, community-driven environment” and honestly, they’re nailing it.

IPL Fan Parks Journey Since 2015

These all Fan Park ideas started in 2015 and has been growing every year. But 2026 feels like a big leap. By taking it to 30 cities, BCCI is truly making IPL a people’s league. Local shops and vendors also get business, local artists get to perform, and every city feels proud that “our town hosted IPL Fan Park.”

What to Expect Next

Very soon IPL website and BCCI social media pages release the full list of cities, exact venues, and timings. Once your city name pops up, just plan the weekends.

More Than Just Cricket

Whether your team is winning or struggling, these parks are where you celebrate cricket in its purest form – with loud cheers, high-fives with strangers who become friends, and that magical feeling when the entire crowd stands up for a six. This is more than just watching matches. This is building memories. This is making sure every cricket lover in India feels included.
